Band Members

Joe Dunagan lends his special abilities on rhythm guitar and vocals to make the bands music distinctive.

With a voice that is fireplace warm, Joe Dunagan began to love music at the age of four and a half when he listened to his father play.  His professional career began at age seventeen, playing clubs and hiding behind speakers during breaks when the police would walk in to check IDs.  Now a veteran of the great, open road, "Party Hearty" Joe delights his audiences with his musical sculptures.

Joe has 3 children Dakota, Brooke and Trevor. (And a cross-eyed  dog named "Two-Way")

Joe sang with numerous bands around the Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas area, opening for Pake McEntire and Merle Haggard.  He tried to quit the business but never could stay out of it. Noted for his unpredictability, Joe is the sound of a potent artist hitting his stride.

The quintessential musician, Joe says he has trouble listening to music.  "I have an attention span of about seven seconds," he explains.  "If a record is dire, I take it off right away and if it is really brilliant, I take it off because it inspires me to write a song."

Joe, not only displays  his talent as vocalist and on the rhythm guitar, but as an extraordinary songwriter.   The band's original songs are all  written by Joe.  When asked about his thoughts on music, Joe says "I listen to all kinds and love all kinds of music.  I can write a song, maybe not a good one, but you can dance to it !"   The fans and followers seem to disagree with Joe in part on this comment, as one fan put it "the band's original songs are 'Hot' with a capital letter 'H'."   Joe's musical influences are his Dad, and his sister, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Bob Wills, George Strait, and Stevie Ray Vaughn.
