Clear Creek is a band that has only grown better with time.  They have experienced laughter and then have been blasted down with heartache only to make it back up to the top of this huge roller coaster ride called life.

For eight years,  Clear Creek Band bounced along the highway between Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma and countless points in between, making back road trips from one dancehall to the next, refining it's no holds barred style, and forging a band with players linked not only with immense individual skill but by a common vision.  The intention from the start was to build a band that would be a recording act eventually, and be one entity in and of itself.

Mission nearly accomplished!  Clear Creek Band wasn’t simply a self-contained unit but a band with chemistry that extended far beyond the dancehall.  For one thing, the easy-going members all shared small town backgrounds, growing up in close knit families where music flourished.

From the beginning, they wanted something different enough so that when the audience heard the first two measures of one of Clear Creek's songs they would know that it was Clear Creek Band.   Various band members came and went during the months that followed.  But after some amazing tales of finding just the right player at just the right moment, the pieces of the Clear Creek puzzle fell together as if by design with Keith Werner on bass and  Greg Ming on lead guitar and vocals; Joe Dunagan on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Gary Brach percussion, and Dan "Dr. Dan" Sherbon on steel guitar, piano, organ, and sax.

The band was on a roll to the top when their CD, Cup of Joe was released in January of 2002.  Cup of Joe was described as a CD with "10 good tracks with an excellent modern sound".   Clear Creek was noted as a band that you need to keep  your eye on !

Then in May 2003, things began to change for Clear Creek as their world came crashing down with the loss of their long time friend and drummer, Jeff Mills.  This began a time for reflection and healing for the members of Clear Creek.   Months went by as the members struggled with moving on without Jeff.  As hard as this loss was, one thing was certain, the members knew that had to keep moving onward and upward and continue playing their distinctive sound.

After the tragic loss of Jeff Mills, a very compassionate and talented individual stepped up to help the band during this struggling time.  Gary Brach lent his special flair to the band to help the band members get  through this time of change.  It then became obvious that Clear Creek had found a unique combination to follow Jeff and Gary had to become a permanent member of this energetic group.

2006 finds Clear Creek into their eighth year and back on top with their five key band members, Joe Dunagan, Greg Ming, Keith Werner, Gary Brach, and Dan Sherbon.   They are a band who can sing about heartache and laughter from personal experience.  They are a band who through it all never has missed a beat and who can continue put on a show that makes everyone want to dance.  When you see Clear Creek in action, you get a show that makes your heart pump and your body feel the music !
